This family heirloom get a new look!
This old beauty gets an updated finish. Painted in a warm black with worn edges for a soft aged look. Cleaned and treated leather top to compliment the finish.
It's been awhile since I've posted something because the project I've been on requires secrecy. At least until it opens....hopefully soon! In the meantime, I'll remind you that another man's trash is still trash, until you refinish it! Also, give it a good cleaning.
These are all pieces I picked up off the curb. They had good bones, but their finishes were worn or outdated. Some fancy paint techniques later, and they're as good as new! UP CYCLE!
LOVE THE IDEA, BUT HATE THE WORK....CONTACT ME!
Ah yes, orange oak cabinets! On the plus side, oak is solid and durable and will last you decades...unfortunately, the finish will not. Over the years, the oil sealer starts to craze, crack and yellow over time...hence the glowing orange. If the original set up is still functional, then refinishing is always an option. You can also give it a more substantial look by adding trim and base board around the island and cabinets. Check out some of my past projects and get inspired to do it yourself...or just hire me.
There's still hope!
