The Garden Mural is DONE! I think.

My client donated this makeover for the Samuel Sinclair Dental Center in Providence RI.  They service children and adults with special needs so she wanted a fairy tale garden that was cheerful but also calming.   It is the dentist, after all.  We wanted to incorporate all the existing elements into the mural.  When they were an eyesore, like the dark cherry doors, I blended them out.

Finally, all the other elements are in place to have a complete look!  Designer, Skip Carlin did a fantastic job with selection of  lighting, floor, furniture, the cute little toad stools and the brilliant idea for the window treatments.   I designed and painted them once Brett Cortesi cut them out.  It really brings the whole room together.

This was a fun project!

2016 ~ PAINT, PAINT and more PAINTING!

This year was a big year for my works on canvas, both toy and pet portraits.  I was in four shows, sold 7 paintings and 4 commissions.  Woo hoo!  But more importantly, this was the year I got a new studio assistant.  He's quite useless but damn cute!

A huge thank you to all my former clients, friends and family, for all the referrals.  I couldn't have done it without you. Let's see what next year brings!

Faust in Downtown Providence gets a makeover that takes it from cold to cozy.  This included staining and installing wood veneer paneling...first time for everything.  As well as gold/brass highlights in the trimming and ceiling.

Check it out and order the schnitzel!
